Cricket World Cup 2027 Schedule and Tickets to Be Announced in Cape Town

The schedule for the 2027 Men’s Cricket World Cup will be revealed on Thursday, October 1, in Cape Town. Alongside this, the International Cricket Council (ICC) will open a global ticket ballot for fans wanting to attend matches across South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
The announcement will take place at the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa in Cape Town and is expected to be broadcast starting at 4:30 p.m. South African Standard Time. This event marks a key moment as cricket returns to Africa for the first time in 24 years.
The ticket ballot will run from October 1 through November 21, 2026. Fans can register for free and apply for tickets to any match they wish to attend. Each match counts as a separate entry, and applicants may request up to four tickets per game. The ballot is not first-come, first-served; instead, a random draw will be used when demand exceeds ticket availability.
The tournament will feature 14 teams competing across 57 matches at 12 venues spread across the three host countries. South Africa will hold most matches, with stadiums in cities including Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban. Zimbabwe and Namibia will also host games, with Namibia welcoming a senior ICC tournament for the first time.
While the full match schedule will be unveiled at the event, some details remain undecided, such as the exact tournament start date. Fans interested in attending are encouraged to register their interest to receive updates and information on ticket sales.
